This Rocks Village Bridge photograph is a print of my original landscape photograph taken in 2018. The iconic green bridge was built in 1914 to replace several previous wooden bridges and stands today after at least one major restoration. The bridge known by all the locals spans the Merrimack River and is used to connect people from West Newbury, Haverhill, Merrimac and Groveland as well as NH residents. It is the oldest moveable span bridge under the Massachusetts Highway control. The image was captured on the West Newbury side of the Merrimack River.
